All the white blobs in this picture are bits of Styrofoam. I spent around 20 minutes trying to pick up each individual piece but there were so many pieces that it didn't look any different after I was finished. I think there were originally some large pieces of Styrofoam that ended up in the ocean and broke down over time. Eventually the small bits were pushed by tides to the Sea Wall and are now mixed in amongst leaves and sticks and other pieces of ocean debris.
