So far this past month has been challenging. I’ve come to terms with the fact my initial project is no longer viable amidst COVD-19. My coaching calls have been helpful in inspiring me to figure out a different approach to the outdoor movie screening and panel I had planned. I really miss going to the beach. Visiting, pre-COVID-19, was my way of reconnecting with Water and finding solace in a chaotic city setting. I spent the morning painting to try to feel closer to the Great Lakes. Photo description: A sandy beach, lake, and boat house in the distance - framed by big trees and leaves. A boardwalk and park bench (on the left) are the middle of the water colour painting. Bold letters in middle of painting “The Beaches”.
