Dr. Shreyas Patankar is a forensics research scientist with the Ocean Wise Plastics Lab. Shreyas uses materials and data science techniques to help us better understand source, transport, and fate of microplastic pollutants in our oceans. Shreyas holds a PhD in physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and has a research background in applied physics, energy, and environmental policy.
