How to Navigate Pages

Description

Transcript:

Hello/Bonjour! and welcome to the Taking it Global or TIGed webpage! In this video we will be walking you through how to navigate the pages on this website. This website will contain resources for your distance learning journey and action projects. You can access this website directly from your teams through the general channel toolbar or directly through your browser. Please ensure that you have created an TIGed account and are logged in.

We are currently on the home page where you can see our social media wall! Feel free to post on IG using #OceanWiseYouth. If you don’t have Instagram you can feel free to post in the gallery section here. There will be a separate tutorial that shows you how to upload a photo to the gallery.

On the left hand side of this website you will see a navigation pane, this includes two sections Pages and Community tools.

Under pages you will find folders with specific pages stored in them. For example, under Local community Action you will find resources specific for your service projects. As you click into a folder, pages will appear on the navigation pane, alternatively you can continue to the next page by scrolling down and clicking here.

The examples of Action projects folder is under development and show case action projects that Ocean Bridge Alumni completed during their placement.

The Technology Tuides folder is also under development and it  will contain resources on how to access and navigate Microsoft teams and this Taking it Global website.

The Key resources will contain a citizen science folder,  pages on grants , mental health resources, social media and communications, and the ocean bridge code of conduct.

Finally, there are Modules that will be posted as you continue your distance learning journey.  Each module will contain resources to prep you for the monthly dialogues. As your distance learning journey continues, we will be adding more modules.

I hope that this gives you guidance on how to navigate the TIGed website. In the Next video you will be learning how to navigate community tools.

Thank you/Merci
